ISO 9001:2015 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The ISO 9001:2015 standard is applicable to businesses of every scale and industry. More than a million enterprises from over 160 countries have adopted the ISO 9001 standard's requirements for quality management systems. The core seven principles of quality management include a focus on customer needs, leadership, employee engagement, organized approach to processes, continuous improvement, decisions informed by data, and the effective management of relationships.

The original version of ISO 9001 was launched in 1987 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an international consortium comprising the national standards bodies from over 160 countries. The most recent revision to ISO 9001 was made in September 2015.

ISO 9001 is recognized worldwide as the standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). Its aim is to support businesses in meeting the expectations of their customers and other stakeholders more effectively by establishing a framework for maintaining consistent quality in the delivery of products or services.

An ISO 9001 Quality Management System enables continuous oversight and control of quality across all activities. As the premier global standard for quality management, it provides strategies for achieving, and setting benchmarks for, consistent performance and service quality. With ISO 9001 in place, businesses can implement processes that enhance operations at every level.
